High-Profile Guests at Nordic Championships

Both Anna Iwarsson, President of the Swedish Sports Confederation (RF), and Hans von Uthmann, President of the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK), will be in the audience at the Nordic Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Halmstad this weekend.

The event, which begins at 10:00 both Saturday and Sunday, takes place inside Eleiko’s warehouse at Skackelvägen 5 in Halmstad, and entry is free. It is particularly exciting that the presidents of both RF and SOK will be on site in Halmstad, invited by the Swedish Weightlifting Federation.

“I am very much looking forward to visiting the Nordic Youth and Junior Championships in weightlifting this weekend. I am grateful for the invitation and truly excited to learn more about the sport, meet representatives from federations and clubs, and of course watch thrilling competitions and skilled athletes and coaches,” says SOK President Hans von Uthmann.
